It’s hard to read something when it’s evident that the author themself doesn’t have compassion to the theme they composed. It’s particularly difficult to empathise when you can tell it wasn’t Holy Spirit lead. The Tate’s books, however, while reading it, made us think that not only was it perfect to read as a family (or by yourself), but it was written whilst holding God’s hands and letting Him write it for them. We could tell it was written with love, and with the Holy Spirit’s lead and guidance. Confusion is of the Devil, and sometimes, we make God's obvious lessons and what he’s trying to tell us, unnecessarily complicated for ourselves. The Tate’s books not only simplify the message God is often trying to tell us, but gave us a warm feeling that is simply described as love washing over us. Whilst reading these books, we felt Christ and the presence of the Lord to the extent where we felt like the Holy Spirit himself was in the room ministering to us. The main characters are surprisingly easy to relate to, and sometimes, gave us a straight up slap in the face. It’s easy to place yourself in the character’s shoes, and even easier to understand the lesson the Tate’s demonstrated in their books. As the main characters discover who they are in Christ, you will begin to find your own identity in Him as well. In these books, whether you choose to receive it or not, you will undoubtedly feel the love God has towards you. You may notice a kind of fantasy, or otherworldly setting through the Tate’s books. We sure did! Through the stories, the Holy Spirit was able to make the heavens tangible and the spirit world come to life in a way that’s easy for people of all ages to understand, but also feel comfort in.

The Fathers Heart series is a MUST READ for the whole family. Taylor and Jordan's writing style has a way of sparking your imagination, really bringing you into each moment. So, whether you’re young or old(like me), you are able to visualize the story and feel every emotion, allowing each person to truly connect with the Father Himself. It breaks the adult/child barrier and instills a new way to communicate through topics that would normally be difficult. God is truly using this family mightily!!
